Previously, if you would like to buy Hardwood shutters, you have to import them from overseas. With a long lead time and quite often lots of damages, the opportunity was there for us to start offering a UK made, Hardwood shutter for the trade and their customers.
We’ve invested a lot of time and money to be one of the first companies in the UK making a Hardwood shutter. Available in 11 colours as standard in a much shorter lead time, our Hardwood shutters are helping companies and their customers access a premium product within a much more reasonable timescale.
Our Hardwood shutters are manufactured using Basswood, the most popular choice of timber material for hardwood shutters. The Basswood used in our shutters is sustainably managed, plantation-grown timber meaning it is ethically sourced with the environment in mind. Being a medium-density timber, Basswood is extremely durable, sturdy and lightweight. This makes it ideal for larger windows and openings.
We have exciting plans for the Basswood shutters, including our eagerly anticipated spray painting machine which we’ll post about once it’s installed.
